Meaning
은 / 는 is a topic marker in Korean.
It shows what the sentence is about.
Form
- Noun + 은 (final consonant)
- Noun + 는 (no final consonant)
Rule
If a noun has a final consonant (받침), use 은.
If a noun does not have a final consonant, use 는.
